These fitness tips are dangerous
Fitness tips

1. “No pain, no gain”

The English expression "no pain, no gain" is often heard in fitness studios. But pain doesn't always get you anywhere. It is recognized that muscles are particularly challenged during strength training. Pulling can sometimes occur during training. However, if you simply ignore severe muscle pain, you risk injury. In particular, if exercise causes joint pain, it's best to stop — and look for an alternative that's gentle on the joints.

Don't underestimate muscle pain

Sore muscles should not be underestimated. If the pain is severe or lasts for several days, you should take a break and give your body time to recover. If the pain persists or you notice other symptoms, such as severe weakness or inability to move muscles, you should see a doctor. It could be a sign of a more serious injury, such as a muscle tear.

2. “You can do without breaks.”

A tip that's often given, especially when it comes to strength training. If you don't take breaks between sets, you will build muscle faster. But be careful: many experts strongly advise against this. Because: Constantly pushing your limits and training too intensely without adequate recovery can lead to injuries, fatigue and overload. It is important to give the body enough time to regenerate.

3. “Use of Materials”

WARNING: The use of unregulated, unlicensed, or illegal performance-enhancing substances may result in serious health consequences. There are many reasons for this. Because these substances are not regulated or approved, there are no guarantees made to ensure quality, purity, or potency. Unapproved substances can also have serious side effects, ranging from cardiovascular problems to liver damage to hormonal imbalances. It can also increase your risk of high blood pressure, heart attacks, strokes, and mental health problems. And: Some unapproved substances, such as anabolic steroids, can cause addiction. In addition, there are legal consequences, because possession, use and trade are punishable

4. “Once you get over it, you feel better.”

Everyone knows these days: you barely have any energy, you feel weak but in fact today is the planned run or the weekly session in the gym. In such a situation, many people advise you to exercise just because you feel better afterward. However, this advice can be dangerous, because there is a reason why we don't feel fit. Possible reasons are lack of sleep or infection that weakens our body - exercise will be an additional burden here. In such cases, it is recommended to walk longer distances than a unit of strenuous endurance or strength.
